Why can't I log in to my account?

Here are some of the most common reasons why you might not be able to log into your MyStoke account:

  • Our system cannot find an account registered to the email address you gave. Perhaps you have misspelled your email address, or you used a different email address when registering your account or you are using the email address for your old online account. Please try again, making sure you are using the correct email address, correctly spelled.
  • You haven’t registered for a MyStoke account yet, you can register for a MyStoke account here.
  • If you are using the MyStoke app, we're afraid you will not be able to sign in to our website with this account and will need to create a seperate MyStoke account

 

I have forgotten my login details

If you can’t remember your login email address or password, choose Problems signing in? and enter the email address that you think you would have used to set up a MyStoke account with Stoke-on-Trent City Council

If it is an email address that you used to register for a MyStoke account, then your will receive an email to that account containing a reset password link

If you don’t receive any emails, you can re-register here.

 

I am not receiving the emails you say you have sent

Firstly please check your SPAM or Junk folder. If you're not receiving these emails it is because our system cannot find an online account registered to the email address you gave. This could be because:

  • The email address you supplied was misspelled or you registered your account using a different email. Please resubmit your forgotten password request using the correct email address.

 

I have registered for an account but I still can't access my council tax or housing information

To connect your MyStoke account to your council tax or housing records, you need to register with the information we hold about you on file. You should ensure the spelling of your name and your address matches our records exactly.
