About this strategy
The city of Stoke-on-Trent is committed to creating a safer, stronger city where all residents can live free from domestic abuse. Aligned with our broader city missions, focusing on wellbeing, safety, and community resilience, this strategy outlines our approach to both preventing and responding to domestic abuse, ensuring that survivors receive the support that they need, and perpetrators are both held accountable and supported to change their abusive behaviour. This strategy has been informed by the Stoke-on-Trent Strategic Assessment and pan Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Domestic Abuse Needs Assessment, with input from our partnership.
