From May 4 2023, voters in England will need to show photographic ID to vote at polling stations in some elections, including Stoke-on-Trent’s upcoming local elections on Thursday 4 May 2023.

Help giving up smoking

Get free support from the quit smoking service. 

Please note that you are eligible to use this service if you live, work or have a GP in Stoke-on-Trent and:

  • Have a moderate or severe mental health illness

  • Are currently pregnant

  • Live with or are the partner or family member of a pregnant woman who is accessing our service.

For those that do not meet the criteria for specialist support, digital support will be provided using a range of technology such as social media, mobile Apps, chat and text as well as encouragement to purchase nicotine replacement therapy or e-cigarettes. Signposting to other organisations is also available where appropriate
