Shared Lives Week 2026
We're actively involved in Shared Lives Week, which takes place from Monday 15 June to Sunday 21 June and is national celebration of the scheme and the carers that make it work.
It’s all about:
-
Giving Shared Lives carers the recognition they deserve – They’re the beating heart of Shared Lives!
-
Celebrating achievements – People thrive when they are supported in Shared Lives, and we love to cheer them on – every step of the way.
-
Spreading the word – Many people haven’t heard of Shared Lives, and we want to change that.
-
Finding new carers – If you’ve ever thought about opening your heart and home to someone who needs support, Shared Lives Week is the perfect time to learn more (see below for contact information).
-
Making waves – Annual awareness weeks are a great opportunity to chat with policymakers and make sure Shared Lives stays on their radar.
