Draft Housing Customer Engagement Strategy
We are currently updating our Housing Customer Engagement Strategy to ensure we continue to support our customers to engage with the council.
Customer engagement is about involving tenants and leaseholders - or customers - in the planning, delivery and review of our housing services. It gives customers the opportunity to share their views, influence decisions, and work in partnership with the council to improve services and outcomes for their communities.
To help shape the strategy, we would like to know your views on its key messages which include:
- Strengthening how we communicate with our customers
- Empowering customers to influence our services, and
- Promoting a sense of civic pride within our communities.

Customers are being invited to have their say on the draft strategy during a four-week consultation which runs until Wednesday 20 August 2025.
