How to locate your council tax number
You can locate your council tax account number on any correspondence we send to you, below is an example of where you can locate the reference number.
Please make sure you include the letter from the end of your reference number.
When entering your account number please do not include any other information even if you think it will be useful, doing this may prevent your payments from going through on time as payments that include anything other than the account number require additional processing.
Examples of what not to include:
- Your name
- The service you are paying for such as “Council Tax” or CTAX
- Dates, months or years.
- Any other text
