If any tenant feels they require assistance to ensure they can sustain their rent payments, the council has an income advice team which is a dedicated resource available only to tenants to support those who are struggling financially and finding it difficult to pay their rent or bills. They can offer one to one support with personal budgeting and income maximisation. They will also ensure that the correct benefits and income are being claimed. They can be contacted by email incomeadviceteam@stoke.gov.uk or telephone 01782 231564 if you would like some assistance.

Organisations across the city are uniting through our Help is at Hand campaign, providing a range of support for people in the community.
