Stoke-on-Trent City Council with the help of a wide range of local partners, are distributing support worth £4.7 million on behalf of the UK Government, to support the most vulnerable households across the Stoke-on-Trent area with food, utilities, and other essentials.
The fund will run from 1 April 2025 until the 31 March 2026 and is available to support both adults (without dependent children) and families with children and will be made available to vulnerable households who need additional financial support.
Children and Families – vouchers for school holidays
Support will be provided to families during the summer and Christmas school breaks where children are in receipt of free school meals.
A food voucher will be available of £50 per eligible child during the summer holidays, and £30 per eligible child over the Christmas break.
All vouchers will be issued directly to those families where school records indicate the child is in receipt of free school meals. If you have any query regarding receipt of a voucher, you need to contact your child’s school directly.
Please note – vouchers will only be provided to children in receipt of free school meals.
