I already get Housing Benefit

You will need to report that your wages have reduced or that you have claimed or are now receiving Statutory Sick Pay or ‘New Style’ ESA. You can do this online or by calling 01782 234234

Tell us about a change in your situation

I already claim Universal Credit

Contact your work coach as soon as possible by using your online journal or calling the Universal Credit helpline on 0800 328 5644.

I can’t afford to pay my rent

Please speak to your Housing Officer if you are facing payment difficulties and cannot afford to pay your rent. Telephone 01782 234234.

If you need help to claim for any of the benefits listed above please contact the Income Advice Team incomeadviceteam@stoke.gov.uk or telephone 01782 231564.  In light of the current Coronavirus outbreak we have taken the precautionary decision to temporarily suspend all face-to-face interviews and are providing a telephone based support service instead.
