We believe that setting equality objectives help focus attention on the priority equality issues in order to deliver improvements in policy making, service delivery, health and employment to achieve the Stronger Together priorities and objectives.
Public authorities are legally required to set at least one equality objective every four years to help focus attention on priority equality issues. To inform the selection of equality objectives for 2025-2028, evidence gathering has focused on high level data we hold on outcomes against the Stronger Together objectives that relate specifically to outcomes for people in the city, to identify where there are differences between people from different backgrounds.
