This strategy provides a policy vision and outline action plan for the next 10 years in relation to
Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s ambition to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions in line
with the UK’s commitment to achieving net-zero status by 2050. It also aims to provide a single,
coherent rationale for the multiple priorities and areas of activity which the City Council aims to
pursue over the next decade in order to achieve its energy objectives.
