: This policy sets out the council’s approach to supporting residents who need to temporarily move from their home because repair, improvement, safety, or compliance works cannot be carried out safely while the property is occupied. It explains when a temporary move may be required, the circumstances in which residents may be eligible for alternative accommodation, and the support that will be provided throughout the process to minimise disruption and ensure residents’ safety and wellbeing.
