Our Vision
We want Stoke-on-Trent to be a city where:- People with dementia and their carers get the help they need.
- Support is given at the right time by people who understand dementia.
- Care is well organised and works together.
What this means
- Everyone with dementia, and their families, should get kind, quick and helpful support.
- Dementia affects every part of life.
- Support must include health care, emotional support and social care – all working together.
Our promise
- No one should feel stigma or shame because of dementia.
- People with dementia should feel safe and understood.
- Information and advice should be easy to find when needed.
How we made this plan
- We worked with many people and organisations.
- Most importantly, we listened to people living with dementia, their carers and people who work with them.
