Photography Competition 2026
A Celebration of the partnership between
Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire
Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Staffordshire County Council are pleased to launch a photography competition for 2026 to mark the opening of the new Coroners Court in Stoke-on-Trent.
We are inviting photographers of all levels from beginners to professionals to submit inspiring images that capture the character and places that make Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire unique.
The Coroner’s Service plays a vital role in our community by investigating certain deaths in a way that is independent, sensitive and respectful, providing answers for families at difficult times.
The new Coroners Court for Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent has been designed to offer a supportive environment for all who need to attend. The photography competition will help create a space that reflects the strength, character and diversity of Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, ensuring the building feels welcoming and considerate for everyone who visits.
Winners will have their work displayed throughout public buildings in Staffordshire and before the photographs are finally displayed in the new Coroners Court building, creating a welcoming and reflective environment for all who visit.
