Important COVID-19 Notice - Business Rates Data

The most recent business rates data has not been published. This is due to staffing shortages caused by the team’s redeployment in the Council’s response to the Covid-19 emergency.

However, we aim to publish up-to-date business rates data in November 2020.  Please accept our apologies for this delay, and for any inconvenience that this may cause you.

We regularly receive requests asking for details under the Freedom of Information Act relating to business rate accounts (non-domestic properties).

We publish specific information on the most commonly requested reports.

We cannot disclose personal account details.

Sole trader names, where combined with a personal address, are exempt under the Freedom of Information Act and have not been provided. Where sole trader names are combined with a business address, these details have been provided for you.

The ratepayer is the person liable to pay the charge. In many cases, this could be a leaseholder rather than the owner. It is not possible to identify the owners from our records.

The information will be updated every quarter updated in our data directory. All information was correct from the date on the files. We cannot guarantee the ongoing accuracy of the data as accounts are updated daily.
