Tender and Quotation Opportunities Please find details of your selected tender and quotation opportunity below : TitleTender for the reception, transport processing and marketing of Dry Recyclable materialsContract Reference NumberPL/2014/83InformationStoke-On-Trent City Council has a requirement for a short term interim contractual arrangement(Contract period- 25/08/2014 - 31/03/2015) for the receipt; onward transport; sorting; and processing of mixed Dry Recyclable Materials arising from household waste collection rounds. The service required will include the onward transport and sale of specified output materials to suitable end-markets, processors or merchants and the further treatment and disposal of all non-recyclable items at an inclusive price per tonne. The service will require the provision of a full audit trail regarding volume of materials, processors or outlets used and the ultimate destination of each material stream, to be provided along with monthly accounts. The Council's Waste Transfer Station at Federation Road, Burslem is the nominated delivery point for these materials; current annual waste arising's for this service are in the region of 14,000 Tonnes, subject to normal fluctuations. The council will load the contractor's vehicles at the nominated delivery point, at which time ownership of the waste will be transferred to the contractor who will then handle all necessary arrangements for the onward transport, processing and subsequent sale to end-markets. The contractor will be expected to carry out the collection element of this service such that permit conditions, in particular the amount of waste stored on-site at Federation Road are not breached. A sample load of material for analysis can be collected during the week commencing 11/08/14.
