The Council is redesigning the way it delivers Social Care Services to Adults in light of the Care Act. The intention is that the service will focus on an outcome-focused/asset based model of practice delivered through a redesigned service structure that applied systems thinking approach to the development of the new model. We are seeking a provider to work with us to develop and deliver a training package to roll the model out to the adult social care workforce. Interested providers will need to demonstrate an understanding of the changes in social care practice required to implement the Care Act and how an outcome-focused/asset based model may be applied in practice by practitioners. Equal with this is the need for the provider to be familiar with systems thinking. We are seeking a provider to deliver a one to two day session with a group of 15 to 20 social care practitioners in January/February 2015.
