InformationThe Ceramics and its Dimensions project runs from 2015 to 2018 and has 25 partners in 11 countries across Europe. Partners include high profile museums, universities and industry organisations. The project is led by Porzellanikon - Staatliches Museum für Porzellan, (Bavaria's National Museum for Porcelain). The project is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union. The project is made up of a 10 Modules, all representing a different activity strand. These Modules represent exhibitions, online-databases, mentoring programmes and education strands, among others. We are currently working on Module 7, the Education and Audience Development section of the project. The overall aim of Module 7 is to engage diverse audiences with ceramics. Module 7 partners are: - The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery - The Clay Foundation (prev. The British Ceramics Biennial) - Museum of Decorative Arts, Prague - Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche, Italy - Porzellanikon, Germany The two main outcomes of the Module are an Education Toolkit and a Tactile Box. The Education Toolkit will be based around the theme of food and we would like to use a recipe based pull out for each case study. It will contain a series of recipe cards, which will detail how to build effective experiences with clay. Each recipe card will present a successful and innovative project completed by the Module 7 partners. They will show engagement with a different audience such as culturally diverse communities, school children, families and those with disabilities. We are advertising for a graphic designer to design this toolkit using the content already created by the Module 7 partners. We are asking for a written quotation that will include the following • A consultation meeting to discuss and develop ideas for the toolkit • A couple of different designs of draft templates created. • Input the text from partners case studies into templates. • Attend an approval meeting where draft templates are presented and final design decided. • Final design produced and delivered in required format. This will include an electronic version and one quality fully worked up print version. Applicants must be available immediately to start working on the toolkit and draft templates need to be ready for approval by July 25th 2016 with the final toolkit completed by July 30th 2017 The quote must be inclusive of any VAT (if the company is VAT registered).
