| Entry requirements | Some sewing experience required. No experience with patterns necessary. Access to a sewing machine at home. You will be working independently between sessions. |
| What will I learn? | Learners will know how to: ¿ follow printed instructions from a commercial pattern ¿ develop their understanding of fabric properties ¿ develop their understanding of design and construction ¿ manage and monitor a budget Learners will be able to: ¿ create a garment appropriate to their level of knowledge and skill |
| What do I need to bring? | Basic sewing kit with fabric scissors. Provide own pattern, fabric and accessories, ready for week 2 of the course. You will be given guidance about what to buy in session 1. You do not need to bring your own machine. |
