Adult Learning Register an Interest
We offer courses on a variety of subjects. If you don’t see the subject you’re interested in studying, email adult.learning@stoke.gov.uk We may be able to offer courses in the future if there is enough demand. When you have registered an interest in a course, if appropriate you must pay a deposit or pay for the course in full to guarantee your place. | Trousers need shortening? Seam needs repairing? Don't know where to start? Then this course is for you! In just three sessions, you'll get to grips with your sewing machine, learn what it does, how to thread it and start stitching. You'll move on to create different seams, stitches and hems and take home a tote bag. If you can sew a hem you can alter garment and curtain lengths. If you can sew a seam you can repair or alter clothing. If you can do that, you can do so much more.
