You need to apply for a HMO licence if you are renting out a large HMO. Your property is defined as a large HMO if all of the following apply: it is rented to 5 or more people who form more than 1 household some or all tenants share toilet, bathroom or kitchen facilities at least 1 tenant pays rent (or their employer pays it for them) Please proceed with the application if the above applies to your property. Make sure that you have all the information with you before starting including the relevant supporting documents ready to attach. You will be given 10 minutes to complete each page, after 10 minutes of inactivity the system will time you out and you will lose everything you entered previously. If the system times you out, you will have to start the whole application again.
