Apply for a Residential Parking Permit

If you want to track the progress of this form, you will need to sign in or register for a MyStoke account.

Register Sign In

If your property is in a residential parking area, you can use this form to apply for Resident and Visitor parking permits.

As you progress through the form you will be advised on what proofs you will need to provide in order to obtain your permit(s) and will be asked to make a payment if applicable.


What you will need to provide:

Residential permits 

  • Proof of ownership and that each vehicle is registered to the property, such as your vehicle log book or insurance policy schedule (must show name, address and vehicle registration(s))
  • Recent proof of address dated within 3 months, such as a:
    • Utility Bill
    • Bank Statement
    • Tenancy Agreement
    • Council Tax Bill

Visitors permits 

  • Two recent proofs of address dated with in the last 3 months, such as a:
    • Utility Bill
    • Bank Statement
    • Tenancy Agreement
    • Council Tax Bill
    • State Pension letter or bank statement showing you are receiving state pension payments if applying for a free pensioners permit 

Students  

If you are a student and your vehicle is registered at your home address and not your term-time address, you will need to provide your log book or insurance schedule along with your tenancy agreement and student card. 

Company Vehicles

If your vehicle is owned  by your company, in addition to your proofs you will also need to provide a letter from your employer on headed paper stating you need to keep the vehicle near your property.  

Once proofs have been verified the Parking Team will arrange for the permit to be delivered to the permit address.
