There will be over 300 sessions and 10,000 opportunities for children to have fun this Easter thanks to the joint efforts of Stoke-on-Trent City Council and the Hubb Foundation.

Families in Stoke-on-Trent have access to free activities over the Easter holidays as part of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.

This year’s Easter HAF will run from Monday 30 March to Friday 10 April and each session will have activities and a free healthy meal. There is a diverse range of activities on offer to cater for all interests.

Bookings for Easter HAF 2026 will go live on Friday 13 March 2026 at 4pm.

Councillor Sarah Jane Colclough, cabinet member for children’s services at Stoke-on-Trent City Council, said: “It is important that every child in Stoke-on-Trent have opportunities to have fun and eat healthily over the Easter holidays.

“There is a wide range of activities that every child can enjoy for free and these experiences ensure children can thrive and receive the support they deserve. I encourage all parents who are eligible to check out what’s on.”

Jane Sawyers, Chair of The Hubb Foundation, said: “We passionately believe that every young person in our city is entitled to a happy, healthy childhood and this includes having opportunities that really enrich their school holidays.

“Children from disadvantaged families are far less likely to access organised out-of-school activities and more likely to experience ‘unhealthy holidays’ in terms of nutrition, physical health and social isolation. The HAF programme bridges that gap and makes a real difference to thousands of families across the city.”
