Stoke-on-Trent City Council are sprucing up the Longton Exchange car park, creating a safe and attractive place for shoppers and traders to park.

Work is due to start on Monday 4 July for a month. Planned works will be undertaken overnight, to help minimise any obstruction to usual trading hours.

Councillor Daniel Jellyman, cabinet member for regeneration, infrastructure and heritage, said: “This is the start of investment into town centre regeneration in Longton. The works will help create a safe, attractive and well-kept area for shoppers and traders to leave vehicles”.

The Longton Exchange has recently been refurbished and offers over 40 retail units, some are home to household names as well as independent businesses. Variable units are available for lease.
