For our Magic Monday, Wild Wednesday and Fantastic Friday children's summer holiday events this year - we've teamed up with Stoke 100 reads. Each of the events are inspired by different books of the Stoke 100 reads. Can you read all of the books we've focused on for each event? We will have special cards which will be stamped each time you complete a book. Today's Wild Wednesday event is inspired by the book - The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. Can you find any caterpillars in the secret garden? Have a go at doing a butterfly count and make a butterfly nectar feeder. NOTE: - We may have to make this a bookable event- as it often proves highly popular. We will let you know if it is bookable about 1 week before the event. Meet The Community Hub (refurbished building near the canal in the south of the park.) Head to the bandstand an cross the step bridge over the canal. The building will be to your right.
