Come and join the charity gospel choir. We are a community-based choir, independent of any church organisation. Everyone over the age of 18 is welcome to join us regardless of background.
We have three aims, which are to:
- Socialise with other people and 'sing the blues away'
- Perform gospel music for pleasure
- Raise money for local charities through an annual concert!
No individual auditions will take place but you will be expected to sing and enjoy yourself. Sorry, but no room for 'observers' or people 'just looking'.
You are under no obligation to join or attend future sessions if you think it is not for you. Just come and try it.
Our choir, as for many other choirs too, helps to promote good physical and mental wellbeing, so please give us a try as part of a programme for better physical and mental health this year.
The choir meets around twice per month on Sundays between 5pm and 6.30pm and only performs once a year for a local charity.
Only three hours' commitment needed a month.
We are also closed during Christmas, Easter and summer periods.
It is very suitable for people who are busy or who don’t want to be too busy, but need to do something different with their lives.
Due to the low time commitment, some of our members are also members of other local choirs too.
Our annual concert usually takes place on the last Saturday of June or first Saturday in July.
Simply leave your name and contact number via phone or email to tell us that you will be attending, on 07913 781 515 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
