Buggy Walk with Urban Wilderness CIC in Longton Park

  • Date: 14th September 2022
  • Location: Longton Park, Trentham Road, Dresden, ST3 4AZ
  • Time: 11:00 - 12:30
  • Cost: FREE

Meet us at Longton Park for a story and stroll, with refreshments and snacks provided. Our walks offer a safe, child-led experience to build confidence, social skills and language development.

Buggy walks are led by artists and storytellers Laurel, Isla and Jenny. We will meet at the main entrance, by the play areas, at 11am on Wednesday mornings. Free street side parking is available on Queens Park Avenue, ST3 4AS. Footpaths are all pushchair accessible. Toilets are available in the park (provided they are unlocked by the council). Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for an autumn walk in the park. Young people may get muddy! We will finish at the bandstand next to Aynsley Tearooms, so if you miss the start for any reason (and we know there's always many reasons!), you can meet us there for a cuppa and a story in the bandstand. All Buggy Walks are FREE to attend, but we have limited places available. Please complete the form at www.urbanwildernesscic.com/buggy-walks to register your interest.
