Stoke-on-Trent City Council uses your personal information to send you relevant communications by email about:

We use Campaignmaster as our email marketing platform to manage and deliver these mass email communications.

- Technical information such as email engagement (e.g. whether emails are opened or links clicked)

- Legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) – to communicate with residents and businesses about council services, where appropriate and balanced with your rights

Who we share your information with
We use a third-party provider, Campaignmaster, to manage and send email communications on our behalf.
Campaignmaster processes your information in accordance with contractual requirements and data protection legislation. They act as a data processor on behalf of the council.
Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Where your information is processed
Your information may be processed using Campaignmaster systems. Any transfer of data is carried out in compliance with UK data protection laws and appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep your information
We will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide email communications and manage your subscription.
Your data will be reviewed regularly and deleted when:
- You unsubscribe from communications
- It is no longer required for the purpose it was collected
