We are a data controller for the personal information we hold about you in relation to additional services provided by Stoke-on-Trent libraries and archives.
The data will be used to enable you to access digital support provided by Stoke-on-Trent libraries and archives to help you complete and manage your Universal Credit claim.
We are able to do this because we are carrying out a task in the public interest.
To enable you to access this service we will share your information with the Department of Work and Pensions.
Data protection law provides you with certain rights, but not all of these rights will be available to you in all situations. Where we are under a legal duty to use data for a particular purpose, you will not have the right to prevent it being used in that way.
