This report presents a new strategic housing market assessment (SHMA) for Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The research has been undertaken by Turley in partnership with specialist demographic consultancy Edge Analytics.
The preparation of a new joint SHMA for Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent will form a key part of the evidence base for the new joint local plan, identifying a range of suitable objectively assessed housing need targets in conformity with guidance outlined in the National Planning Policy Framework and Planning Practice Guidance.
