From Monday 12 April 2021 - Open Access will allow you to browse and borrow books and use a PC at Stoke Library. The library will also still be running a Click, Call and Collect service.

Brief details on library reopenings
Following government guidance you will soon have more choice in how you can borrow books and we'll be providing access to more services from Stoke-on-Trent Libraries.
We will be reopening some libraries, meaning you will be able to browse and borrow books from the shelves, use a PC and use the photocopier - we are calling this Open Access.
From Monday 12 April 2021 Open Access will allow you to browse and borrow books and use a PC at City Central Library and Stoke Library.
From Monday 19 April 2021 Open Access will allow you to browse and borrow books and use a PC at Tunstall Library.
From Monday 26 April 2021 Open Access will allow you to browse and borrow books and use a PC at Longton Library.
From Wednesday 21 July 2021 – Open Access will allow you to browse and borrow books and use a PC at Meir Library.
From Tuesday 27 July 2021 – Open Access will allow you to browse and borrow books and use a PC at Bentilee Library.
You will still be able to use Click, Call and Collect at libraries after Open Access is introduced.
Some Key Points
- You can return books to any Stoke-on-Trent Library.

- You must wear a face covering in libraries unless you are exempt) To find out what the Government says about wearing face coverings please click here.
- There will be no access to toilet facilities.
- Everyone aged 16 and over will be asked to complete a Test and Trace form or check in using the NHS Covid-19 app.
- You can return books to any Stoke-on-Trent Library.
