A shining ray of hope
The Potters 'Arf is one of the most unique races in the UK. It has amazing Stokie support; places for all; a wonderful atmosphere at the city centre finish; special Potteries medals created by Wade Ceramics, fantastic challenges and more! We want it to be a shining ray of hope in 2021.
The event includes a 13.1-mile race, as well as walking and relay team sections for those who don't want to run the full distance. There is also a 1,000-metre junior race for youngsters aged six to 15 years old.
The Potters 'Arf has huge mental and physical health benefits, as well as raising thousands of pounds for local charities – including the main causes the Douglas Macmillan Hospice and The Alice Charity. Organisers hope that around 2,000 participants will be able to tackle this year's event.
The safety of residents and participants is of the upmost importance and we will be regularly reviewing the guidance provided by the Government and England Athletics in the run-up to the event.
Runners, walkers, relay teams and juniors can sign up now following the link above.
