Stoke-on-Trent City Council is looking for people who are passionate about improving the lives of young people to join their team of children’s social workers.
There are more than 40 jobs available and a dedicated open evening will be held on Monday, 2 December for people to find out more information.
The event, taking place between 4pm and 7pm in the Jubilee Hall at the Civic Centre, will offer the chance for people to meet the teams, find out more about the various roles available and also how to apply.
Councillor Dave Evans, cabinet member for children and young people said “Our journey to improve our services for vulnerable young people is well under way. Children’s services is our number one priority and we are expanding the service to enable us to give the best possible support to young people and their families.
“We have various opportunities available across the service and there has never been a more exciting and rewarding time to join us. I’d like to encourage anyone who is interested to come along to the open evening and find out more.”
