In a special Easter draw, players of Council’s online lottery will be in with the chance of winning two family swim passes for Dimensions and a six month gym membership at Shapes at Fenton Manor.
Potto Lotto was launched in May 2018 and nearly a year on, 70 good causes and charities in Stoke-on-Trent have benefitted from a massive £34,138 that has been raised so far.
It’s a lottery scheme with a difference. It gives players the chance to win cash prizes up to £25,000 and extra tickets, while players can make a difference to local causes that are signed up. For each £1 ticket sold, 50p goes directly to a good cause signed up to scheme, chosen by the player.
Over the past year, three lucky winners have won £2,000 each and five players have won £250 each. Many have also won £25 prizes and extra tickets.
Councillor Anthony Munday, cabinet member for greener city, development and leisure said:
“I’d like to thank the Dimensions and Shapes for their kind prize donations for this year’s Easter draw, as well as all of our Potto Lotto supporters.
“It’s fantastic to see Potto Lotto making a real impact over this past year. It’s so important that we can offer support to the many good causes across Stoke-on-Trent. Potto Lotto is a great way for us to do this, and gives the public the opportunity to win great prizes as well!
"I'm confident Potto Lotto will continue to grow in the coming months. I look forward to seeing how much the initiative makes a difference to our local causes which make such a positive impact in their communities."
The gym membership and swimming passes can be won on Saturday, April 20 2019.
For current supporters, any tickets purchased for that week’s draw will be entered and all tickets bought by new supporters purchased until Saturday, April 20, 2019 until 8pm will be entered.
Potto Lotto draws take place every Saturday at 8pm.
If you would like to be in with the chance of winning these tickets or other cash prizes ranging from £25 to £25,000 every week and to support local causes signed up to Potto Lotto, go to the website for more information or to play.
