City council making streets safer as tenant evicted in latest ASB crackdown

Stoke-on-Trent City Council has evicted a tenant at an address in Goldenhill whose behaviour had a significant impact on neighbouring residents.

Following a conviction and repeated incidents of anti-social behaviour, the eviction was carried out on Thursday 21 May by the city council’s Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) team.

Councillor Duncan Walker, cabinet member for safe and resilient communities at Stoke-on-Trent City Council, said: “We take anti-social behaviour extremely seriously and we will act quickly when criminal activity puts residents at risk and affects the lives of neighbours.

“This eviction reflects the city council’s commitment to keeping the streets and communities safe and providing support to those affected.

“I would encourage anyone who is experiencing anti-social behaviour to report it as soon as possible, so we can take the necessary action.”
