Money Matters week returns to Stoke-on-Trent: November 13 to 17

Published: Friday, 10th November 2017

Money Matters week returns to Stoke-on-Trent from November 13 to 17, to support residents to make their money go further, sort out their finances or get their money questions answered.

Throughout the week, organisations will promote the financial support available for residents and the ways in which they can develop their money management skills as well as discovering ways of making the financial system more inclusive and accessible.

The North Staffordshire Financial Inclusion Group, which works with organisations across the area, has reported that during the last two Money Matters weeks which ran in November 2016 and July 2017, more than £1.5million of benefits that people were entitled to were identified. This work goes on throughout the year to help people access the financial support they are entitled to.
