Swimming times at Dimensions
After Stoke-on-Trent moved to lockdown from January 5, new restrictions and guidance must be followed in a bid to reduce the spread of coronavirus. The council’s four leisure centres: Dimensions Leisure Centre, Fenton Manor Sports Complex, New Horizons Leisure Centre and Wallace Sports and Education Centre are closed, with direct debits suspended with immediate effect for members. Stoke-on-Trent Gymnastics Centre and Northwood Stadium are also closed. Residents are encouraged to visit the social media channels for the venues, where alternative ways to provide health, fitness and wellbeing advice and information will be posted.
You can get up to date information about the council's leisure services, virtual classes and more via the ActiveStoke app. More info here
INFO:
Children under eight must be accompanied in the water by a responsible person age at least 16.
Adult (age 16 or over) to child ratios in the pool:
- newborn to 12 months: one adult per one baby
- children age one to four: one adult per two children
- children age five to eight: one adult per three children
Weak or non-swimmers must wear armbands for the rapids area of the pool. Children under 1.4 metres will be subject to a 'water test' by the lifeguard to determine if they are strong enough swimmers to enter the rapids without the use of armbands.
***The dragon slide at Dimensions is currently closed for essential maintenance until further notice. We are working to reopen the slide as soon as possible. As a result, the price of admission to the leisure swim will be temporarily reduced to the swim only price of: weekdays – £4 adults, £2.50 children; weekends / school holidays - £5 adults, £3.50 children ***.
