May 28 2021 - Two Potters ’Arf Marathon trophies will include tributes to event founder Don Shelley, who sadly passed away. His granddaughters are also planning to take part in the walking section in his memory.
May 5 2021 - More than 1,000 runners and walkers have signed up for this year’s Potters ’Arf Marathon - and places are still available. As part of a competition, the 1,000th adult to sign up for this year’s event won free entry to the race. Child minder Rebecca Dixon, aged 31, claimed the prize after entering the 13.1-mile run.
March 17 2021 - In brief: The 1,000th adult to sign up for this year’s Potters ’Arf will win free entry to the race and a six-month membership to Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s gyms. To enter the competition, people must visit stoke.gov.uk/pottersarf and complete an online application, together with full payment, for the Potters ’Arf adult run, walk or the relay.
February 26 2021 - In brief: Online entries for the Hanley Economic Potters 'Arf Marathon have opened. Runners, walkers, relay teams and junior race entrants can now sign up online for the September 26 event.

January 29 2021 - In brief: Stoke-on-Trent’s iconic half marathon, the Hanley Economic Building Society Potters ’Arf, is due to return on September 26 after provisional plans were revealed for hundreds of runners to take part.
