Each year the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) has to complete an annual canvass.
The aim of the canvass is to check the register they hold, make any changes and to highlight those residents who may be eligible but are not yet registered.
Canvass 2023 begins on 4 July 2023.
We need to confirm who is registered at your address and invite new residents to register to vote.
If you receive a Canvass Communication A (CCA) and the details are correct you do not need to respond.
If you receive a Canvass Communication B (CCB) a response is required to either confirm the details are correct or to make changes.
