TitleDigital Artist - Cultural Strategy (2023)
Contract Reference NumberS & R/2023/87
InformationStoke-on-Trent City Council is looking to appoint a suitably qualified digital artist with creative flair to design and deliver an interactive online strategy. The purpose of the project is to promote the newly-developed Cultural Strategy 2022-28 to a varied audience in a way which will encourage engagement with, and improve awareness of, the strategy and accompanying Delivery Plan. The strategy sets out a new citywide vision for culture and heritage, and will act as an anchor document for Stoke-on-Trent as we seek to align funding and resources. (For a copy of the Cultural Strategy, please email chloe.bent@stoke.gov.uk). We want to create an engaging visualisation of the Cultural Strategy that reflects Stoke-on-Trent. The provider, with technical assistance from our in-house developers, will design and deliver: 1. A suitably engaging, creative and accessible landing page to host the Cultural Strategy. 2. An interactive digital version of the Cultural Strategy. 3. An interactive digital version of the Delivery Plan (details still to be confirmed, but in essence will be arts, culture, and heritage programmes and activities - potentially captured through a variety of media e.g. infographics and videography). 4. Potential to easily expand the initial landing page to host additional features (e.g. online cultural resources; FAQs; updated content; register of culture and heritage organisations). To apply, submit - 1.) Your vision for this brief; 2.) A sample of your recent work; 3.) A short CV; 4.) Two references from previous projects; 5). A total cost. (NB: We are not too concerned about content at the application stage, rather we are looking for a representation of your artistry). Estimated value of contract: Up to £3,000 Please send your applications and questions to Chloe Bent (Culture and Heritage Policy Officer): chloe.bent@stoke.gov.uk
