Here at Stoke-on-Trent City Council we are committed to helping our residents decide if a particular career is right for them, so we have a variety of options available, dependent on your current circumstances.
Our Work Experience Placements are open to students currently at school, college or university and give you the opportunity to experience working life and develop your skills working alongside our friendly and committed staff.
To register your interest in a work experience placement with us, please complete the online form at the bottom of this page
Once we have this information we will contact the relevant departments to see if they are able to accommodate your placement on the dates requested and let you know as soon as possible.

- Positive Directions - age 15 to 24, and not in employment, education or training
- Learn4Work - age 16 - 24 and not in employment education or training
- Connecting Choices - age 19+, unemployed and looking to get into volunteering, education, training or employment
