Transport Planning in Stoke-on-Trent is co-ordinated by the Local Transport Plan.
What is the Local Transport Plan?
- It is a document that is prepared and submitted to Government every five years
- It covers all aspects of transport
- It tries to balance the transport demands of everyone living in, working in and visiting the area
North Staffordshire Local Transport Plan 2006-2011
We have worked jointly with Staffordshire County Council to develop a North Staffordshire Local Transport Plan. It sets out the strategies, targets, investment and spending programmes for the Major Urban Area of North Staffordshire for the period April 2006 until March 2011 as part of a long term strategy.
