Transport and Streets in Stoke-on-Trent

One of our City Rider buses

Increased investment in Stoke-on-Trent's infrastructure and road networks has opened up the city to investors. We plan to introduce measures to make non-car transport more attractive, improve public transport and improve the highway network throughout the city to help protect our environment for future generations.

Stoke-on-Trent is located in the heart of the UK, halfway between Manchester and Birmingham. It offers easy access to both the M6 and the M1 - via the A50 link road.  The A500 is the main route through the city, joining Junction 15 and 16 of the M6 motorway. Stoke-on-Trent intercity trains run to and from London, Birmingham and Manchester and many other major cities in the UK.
