The Fostering Team Walk to Victory

Walking along the canal towpath for the Signal Walkathon

Always up for a challenge the fostering team decided to raise awareness of fostering and burn some calories by taking part in the annual Signal Radio Walkathon.

The Walkathon took place on Sunday 9 September at Hanley Park. The route was a whopping 10 miles long, following the canal tow path up to Stockton Brook and back again.

The fostering team, sporting their new blue fostering t-shirts raised over £250 for the 'Help a Signal Child' appeal.

A great time was had by all, despite the blisters!

A big thank you to Rikki, Les, Martin, Margaret, Caroline, Jayne, Margaret and Sally for giving up their time to take part in the event.
