What is the Recreation Key Scheme?The Recreation Key is a discount leisure pass which entitles you to reduced price sport, leisure and recreation activities across the city of Stoke-on-Trent.

Where can I use my Recreation Key?You can use your Recreation Key card within city council managed leisure and recreation centres, libraries, museums and theatres in Stoke-on-Trent.

How much does the Recreation Key cost?The Recreation Key costs just £2.60 to join for a whole year 

Do I qualify for a Recreation Key?You can qualify for a Recreation Key if you are receiving one of the following benefits:

  • Job Seekers Allowance
  • Income Support
  • Housing Benefit
  • Disability Living Allowance
  • Severe Disablement Allowance
  • Long Term Incapacity Benefit

You can also qualify for a Recreation Key card if you are:

  • On a Modern Work Based Training Programme
  • A full time student over 16 years of age
  • Over 60 years of age
  • A dependent child or partner of people claiming Disability Working Allowance, Severe Disability Allowance or Income Support

How can I register for a Recreation Key?

  • Visit one of the registration centres listed below
  • Complete a Recreation Key application form
  • Take along a passport sized photograph
  • Take along the £2.60 joining fee
  • Take along the required evidence of eligibility
