The park now boasts some fantastic facilities such as the Sports Zone and several Play Areas. Other general improvements in the park make your visit more enjoyable such as: resurfaced paths and car parks; the lake has been improved, there is a decked board walk around the lake, modern art features on the island in the lake and four beautiful fountains; there is also lighting; restored historical features and resfurbished toilets.
