What's on at Gladstone Pottery Museum

Images from Gladstone Pottery Museum

Gladstone is a fascinating museum that offers many different activities during your visit. The main museum offers an insight into life in a Victorian Pottery Factory, complete with workshops, bottle ovens and an atmospheric yard. During your visit try throwing a pot, making a flower or painting a plate for a small additional small.

While you are here, your visit wouldn’t be complete without visiting our ‘Flushed with Pride’ exhibition, telling the story of the humble loo or a visit the Victorian Doctor and learn about the horrible diseases and ailments of Victorian times or be dazzled with the vast array of tiles in our tile gallery; all included in the price of your admission. Visit in August and enjoy our Alice in Wonderland themed days on Wednesdays and our special trails and other fun activities throughout August.
