How can you become a market trader in Stoke-on-Trent?
Indoor markets
We advertise when and where market stalls become available in the local papers. We also put posters on the notice board of
each market indicating which stalls are available.
If you see a vacancy you are interested in you need to speak to the Market Officer at the market. They will be able to answer
any questions you may have, show you the stall(s) that have been advertised and give you an application form. You can also
download a copy of the form below if you wish. There may also be business opportunities available in the markets, giving you
the opportunity to takeover an existing established market stall, any current opportunities will detailed under 'Street trading
and market business opportunities'.
Outdoor Markets
Like the indoor markets, speak to the Market Officer who will be able to give you all the information you need along with
an application form. You can also download a copy of the form by following the link to the left.
If your application is successful we will write to you with details of the terms and conditions of your licence agreement.
