Stoke-on-Trent City Council has market franchise rights to operate all markets, car boot sales and fairs in Stoke-on-Trent.
Anyone wishing to operate one of these activities must contact the markets team to see if a licence can be granted. Licenses
are only granted to individuals or organisations who are operating these event s for charitable purposes or for school funds.
Organisers not doing this may face legal action.
