Room Hire and Displays

City Central Library, Hanley has display boards available which can be booked for 2 – 4 weeks.

There are large boards suitable for artists' exhibitions (two boards measuring 4ft x 6ft each, making a display area of 8ft x 6ft). There is no charge for the display, only a 15% commission taken by the city council for any item sold.

There is also a smaller set of boards available for groups (for example theatre groups, drama groups, local history societies and so on) to use to promote their forthcoming events – again these can be booked in advance for 2 – 4 weeks.

City Central Library, Hanley also has two meeting rooms available which can be hired for a small fee per session (for example morning, afternoon or evening) during normal library opening hours. One room can accommodate up to 49 people, the other about 20 people.
